Directory Assistance: Useful service or budget killer?

Many would consider directory assistance (411) to be a life saver.  Of course, when most mobile phone providers charges a $1.25 per call it becomes more of a budget killer when your spouse dials it five or more times in a month.  The Solution?

Two free 411 Services:
(888) 373-3411 (FREE 411)
(800) 411-6387 (411 Metro)

From our limited usage (one call), FREE 411 was fast, but didn't offer to dial the number we requested.  411 Metro was slower, but did dial for us.

Hope this information helps!

Another device brought to you for USB

With summer coming, I wouldn't normally consider this product. However, without a convertable or car with a sunroof, I probably won't get the sun I normally do.  So, perhaps this is the perfect birthday or father's day gift for me?

New Podcasts

Searching through iTunes as I typically do weekly when I listen to my existing podcasts, I came across the following new podcasts:

Desiring God Radio - John Piper
Sean Hannity Show
Dave Ramsey Show (only 1 hour)

Also Dobson and Stanley have podcasts of their radio programs.  Just proves you should keep looking, because you never know what you will find.

In2TV

In probably the only thing I will ever say AOL did that was worth while, they have launched In2TV with Time Warner.  What is In2TV?  It is a 'FREE' service that allows you to watch classic television shows.

On my short list of shows so far is 'Babylon5' and 'V' and I haven't begun to scratch the surface of the shows that might be available

Check out In2TV

Not really liberal...

Though I am 5% liberal, my score is somewhat skewed. See according to this document called the Constitution congress is the only government body that can declare war. And they never declared war on Iraq, thus we cannot say the war in Iraq is justified, because it is an illegal war based on our own law. Do I believe we should have declared war with Iraq? Yes, I do.

Your Political Profile

The Last StarFighter

It isn't Star Wars, but the The Last Starfighter was one of the few science fiction movies of the 80s that was decent.

One of the main characters was a arcade game that was really a test of piloting skills.  The arcade game never was made, but now you can download the game and play it.  Here is the link...
