iDon't Believe it!

As I browsed through engadet today, I came across the following story iBelieve, 250 sermons in your pocket.

iBelieve

It appears that the iBelieve is a lanyard for the iPod Shuffle that creates a cross that can be worn to show off religious devotion (or in Barry Bond's case to make his head look smaller).

The problem is (besides the fact that I don't own a Shuffle, nor would want a cross lanyard) is that you cannot seem to order it (no price on the cart) and the site quotes 2 Jobs 3:15 (a non-bible verse, but an obvious reference to Steve Jobs).  After some research (Internet Whois), I discovered that the iBelieve was the creation of a Scott Wilson of STUDIO_MOD who appears to be some kind of designer / artist.

Though the iBelieve could be a cute fashion statement about your religious affiliation.  I think in the end it was a funny stunt, and not something we will see on TV at the next sports press conference or around the halls of the local mall.
