I AM HETEROSEXUAL!

After the recent annoucment by a member of the Houston Coments about her sexual orientation, I figured I needed to make a proclamation too. 

 

It seems that in our world if we cannot declare in the mass media our personal preference including sexual orientation we cannot be happy. So to fulfill my personal need for happiness, I am declaring today to the whole Internet that I AM HETEROSEXUAL!

 

Wow!  You know what, I don't feel any happier... Perhaps happiness isn't something gleaned by making a public proclaimation.  Of course, I was extremely happy when I proclaimed my love and commitment to my wife when we were married just over four years ago. 

 

That proclaimation though was a convenant before God and man to my wife. A convenant is something that bids and when you bid something before God... well... TV Shows get cancelled, Leagues go under, paper fades, but a Covenant before God lasts a lifetime. 

 

Proclaim what you wish, seek recognization as you choose, but nothing matters if you don't honor the convenant you have made.  In the end the mass media doesn't matter and happieness is fleeting, but my commitment (covenant) to Brandi will last a lifetime. 

 

I will try once more:  I AM COMMITTED TO MY WIFE AND WILL REJOICE IN THE LORD WITH HER ALL THE DAYS OF MY LIFE!
