Free Linspire
For those that aren't aware, Linspire is a version of Linux that is not typically free. It is also a very friendly version of Linux. I haven't worked extensively with it, but it can coexist with Windows and read FAT32 out of the box which are nice features if you want to play with Linux and not give up Windows. Without a vast amount of Linux experience, I will agree with the Linspire assertion that it is the 'World's Easiest Desktop Linux'.
With all that said, and due to some confusion in the Linux world, Linspire has felt it necessary to provide Linspire 5.0 free until September 6th. Here is the magic link with how it works:
Linspire - The World's Easiest Desktop Linux
With the exception of using bittorrent, the process is easy and worth while. So if you have any interest in a extremely easy Linux version to play with here is your chance...
