In the past year, I have been tempted by Apple to give the Mac and OS X a try. Obviously, my job requires a Intel machine and affording a Mac just isn't in the budget in the short term or long term for the house.
Well, today I took my thoughts and put them into a google search. I am looking for away to run OS X in a Virtual PC session which I use for work and is installed on my laptop. According to Microsoft, Mac OS, UNIX, and Linux are not support with the Virtual PC software, but I have run Linspire (a flavor of Linux). Of course, Mac OS doesn't support running on a x86 and that is all you get with Virtual PC another x86. So I don't have much hope.
Right out of the google search I found CherryOS which looks like it is meant to solve one of my hidden technology desires.
Is is a hoax? Seems like a large investment to find out one way or another, but hopefully I can find a version of OS X to well try before I buy both CherryOS and OS X. We will see what I can do on November 25th.... Keep watching.
